Jim says, “Anyone could have done this, most weren’t prepared to pay the price. If my journey serves as a lesson to help other people get there quicker with less mistakes, it’s been worth telling the story. For some this will literally be a blueprint for success”

More Fife homes are now coming up for sale.

 

This is excellent news for Fife homebuyers and Fife landlords because as properties are no longer flying off the shelf as they did last year, the number of properties available to buy is beginning to return to long-term averages.

 

This means there is greater choice for Fife buyers and this will reduce the pressure on Fife house prices and return us to a more normal Fife housing market for buyers (and sellers).

• Rental inflation is 12.1% per annum, well ahead of earnings (6%)
• No sign of a slowdown due to chronic supply/demand mismatch
• Demand is 46% above average while total supply is 38% lower
• Rents in the largest UK cities are registering the fastest growth rates
• Rental (un)affordability for a single earner is at its highest for over a
decade (35% of average weekly earnings)
• Demand for one-bed flats jumps as renters seek better value
• Stretched rental affordability will start to hit demand and the pace
of rent increases in H1 2023
• Rent growth to slow to 4-5% by the end of 2023
