Jim Parker is no stranger to running a successful business and being a multiple award winner.
His mantra: "It’s all about delivering an outstanding customer experience and results for your clients while continuing to look after them for the rest of their life. Making it happen, not watching it happen or wondering what the heck happened. This is a labour of love for which I am very passionate about and extremely privileged to do."

So what’s his background?
Initially training as an Accountant in his 20’s he has an early track record of achievement by winning Fife College’s student of the year 3 times for Business & Accountancy. Following on from this he worked in many of Fife’s local manufacturing companies such as Pfaudler Balfour, Tullis Russell and ESA McIntosh which enabled him to elevate to the position of Financial Director at 29 years old. During this time in his mid 20’s Jim also got involved in property as a Landlord way before buy to let was even a phrase and within the next 15 years this allowed him to retire at 38 years old and go on to build his own Estate & Letting Agency whilst teaching his employees to deliver the same high standard of service and results.
Now in his 50’s and over 28 years in buying and selling property Jim has an outstanding track record in his field at helping everyone he is involved with to achieve what they want whether selling, renting, buying or investing. This has resulted in several high-profile awards such as the worldwide Centurion Producer Award which recognises and rewards the exceptional achievements of an Estate Agent within the world’s largest Estate Agency CENTURY 21. "To achieve CENTURION status is to earn one of the most prestigious awards of which only a small number of sales professionals in the world ever reach."
Jim is also one of the first, if not the first in Scotland to pass the Chartered Institute of Housing’s LETWELL qualification and was congratulated personally by the Minister for Housing, MSP Kevin Stewart at that time.
As well as this his team has also won Fife and Scotland’s No.1 Estate Agency in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 voted for by his sellers and Fife’s No.1 Letting agency 13 times in conjunction with the UK’s ESTAS which is voted for by his customers. So what does Jim do in his spare time?
Jim is a Triathlete and climbs mountains around the world to raise money for charity, and is invloved with many associations and charities throuhgotu Fife. Richard Cook is no stranger to the Fife area. Originally from Leven, the local and surrounding areas are very well known to him and he has strong links with the people and communities throughout Fife. This local connection and knowledge gives him a great insight into his client’s needs and allows him to determine how he can provide them with outstanding service and cater for their individual needs. This was recognised in 2017 by being invited to appear on Homes Under the Hammer (Episode 51 Series 20) to give his professional opinion.
Initially retraining at college Richard came to Fife Properties in 2010 and started on an intense training programme that was developed by Group Office Owner Jim Parker’s vast experience in the Sales and lettings market. Over this period, he has developed and perfected his skills in all areas of the company through the continuous professional development (CPD) programme for lettings, sales and property management.
A service at this level over the years has allowed him to contribute to Fife Properties and be recognised by winning several awards at The ESTAS. The ESTAS is the largest independent customer feedback awards scheme for letting agents in the United Kingdom and is a testament to Fife Properties as the votes come direct from our very own landlords. Today Richard oversees the lettings and property management departments, which while regularly focusing on customer service and ongoing education ensures the landlords are legally compliant with the latest government legislation and guidelines while being looked after. Periodically he attends training and education seminars held by the government approved Landlord Accreditation Scotland, The Scottish Association of Landlords and The Chartered Institute of Housing.

Currently studying a Higher National Certificate in Business Management he’s a people person who is very approachable and driven which in this industry are important factors in providing an outstanding service to all our clients.
Perrie Mcintosh thrives within a client driven business and has a strong record of delivering an outstanding customer experience! Her belief is: “Total commitment and effort provides outstanding customer service, your client should be a client for life, knowing you will look after and bring value to them in their life journey”.
So, what is her background?
She began her career in the late 80’s at entry level within the financial sector and after 20 years’ of demonstrating drive, determination, and an eye for client engagement, her success led to the Board Room where she had the opportunity to travel and live throughout the UK with her family. After the financial crisis in 2007/2008 she had the opportunity to take on a new challenging career.
In 2008 she found herself in Aberdeen and decided to commence a new career supporting the Oil and Gas Sector working with a Worldwide Occupational Health and Crisis Management company. Again, with the same determination to succeed, she soon found herself supporting major clients covering the North Sea and Norway. As part of a global organisation, she benefited from fantastic training and development programmes in Beijing and Singapore and soon found herself as the Worldwide Employee of the Year – winning a magical trip to Cancun Mexico.
After years of dedication to the corporate world Perrie decided in 2017 to return to Fife and settle into her hometown with her family. After selling her own home with Fife Properties in 2021, she was so impressed with the service that she soon became a valuable member of the team. She has embraced the mentorship programme with Managing Director and owner Jim Parker and has seen a speedy rise to the Sales Manager’s level after only 18 months. In her first full year in 2022 & 2023, Fife Properties received an approval rating of over 99% from their customers at the ESTAS, the UK Estate Agency Oscars.
So, what does Perrie do in her spare time?
Perrie loves to hill walk and has reached the Ben Nevis Summit. In addition, her downtime and quiet space is spending time with her family and dog “Jock” at the beach.
After 22 years as a Police Officer in the Ministry of Defence Police Force it was time to move on and choose another career path. It came as no surprise that David would choose another career serving the public as he had been so passionate before and wanted to have a business that continued to do this.
So, mid-2012 David joined the Fife Properties network and took up the franchise for the West of Fife and Dunfermline.

David is no stranger to the area and has lived, worked and raised a family in Dunfermline since moving here in 2004.

In 2015, Sophie made the move from Yorkshire to Scotland to embrace a new beginning. Starting off in retail within a customer services role in Dundee, then Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline it wasn’t long before her drive and determination paid off, being quickly promoted up the ranks to secure her first Management role. Her mantra, “Total commitment and effort to providing an outstanding customer service, will translate to a client for life, delivering value over the long term”.
The Pandemic hit and provided the perfect opportunity for Sophie to pivot and take on a new challenge in online shopping gaining many skills and knowledge.
Moving into her first home in the early 2022, she got a first-hand experience of the property market, and this was the start of a new chapter. With many transferable skills and an eagerness to learn and develop, Sophie joined Fife Properties on an intense mentorship programme.
In this time Sophie has worked closely with Scotland’s No.1 Estate Agent and Managing Director Jim Parker with the team to excel in her Estate Agency role. In a short space of time, Sophie has guided and supported many clients across Fife to sell their properties, while achieving a great price and helping them move forward with their property journey.
After successfully completing her Higher National Diploma in Legal Services, Kerin joined our property management team in 2016. Over the years, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to her role, diligently building her knowledge base of our diverse property portfolio. Her expertise extends to ensuring the utmost satisfaction of both our valued tenants and esteemed landlords, guaranteeing they are content and satisfied within well-maintained and cared-for homes. During her time in property management, Kerin undertook various training courses including completing her level 3 certificate in Letting and Managing Residential property through the Charter Institute of Housing in 2017.
Originally from Lundin Links, Kerin’s local knowledge has assisted in her transition from Property Manager to Letting Agent. As someone that loves her job, Kerin enjoys the diversity of properties our portfolio contains and embraces meeting new landlords to assist in securing them the right tenant. Her enthusiasm, coupled with her comprehensive local insights and extensive industry knowledge, adds immeasurable value to our team and to the overall experience of our clients.
