Richard Cook is no stranger to the Fife area. Originally from Leven, the local and surrounding areas are very well known to him and he has strong links with the people and communities throughout Fife. This local connection and knowledge gives him a great insight into his client’s needs and allows him to determine how he can provide them with outstanding service and cater for their individual needs. This was recognised in 2017 by being invited to appear on Homes Under the Hammer (Episode 51 Series 20) to give his professional opinion.

Initially retraining at college Richard came to Fife Properties in 2010 and started on an intense training programme that was developed by Group Office Owner Jim Parker’s vast experience in the Sales and lettings market. Over this period, he has developed and perfected his skills in all areas of the company through the continuous professional development (CPD) programme for lettings, sales and property management.

A service at this level over the years has allowed him to contribute to Fife Properties and be recognised by winning several awards at The ESTAS.  The ESTAS is the largest independent customer feedback awards scheme for letting agents in the United Kingdom and is a testament to Fife Properties as the votes come direct from our very own landlords. Today Richard oversees the lettings and property management departments, which while regularly focusing on customer service and ongoing education ensures the landlords are legally compliant with the latest government legislation and guidelines while being looked after. Periodically he attends training and education seminars held by the government approved Landlord Accreditation Scotland, The Scottish Association of Landlords and The Chartered Institute of Housing.

Currently studying a Higher National Certificate in Business Management he’s a people person who is very approachable and driven which in this industry are important factors in providing an outstanding service to all our clients.
